TFO Travel Rods – Spinning

I started talking with Jim and Rick of TFO Rods back in 2016 about their 3-piece Travel Rods. They didn’t offer a Light Action, and I believed this was critical to casting 1/16 oz. Buggs Bonefish Jigs to spooky fish. They made my a prototype and I’ve fished it successfully for Bonefish, Snook, Small Bass, and Rainbow Trout on the Arkansas River in Colorado. It’s a beautiful rod that is perfectly balanced. It has a fast action and is very accurate. You won’t know it’s a 3-piece rod, but boy is it convenient for travel! The great news? It’s available from Light Action all the way up to Heavy, for just about anything you’ll target on your next trip!
